A beautiful new tab you’ll love.

GiveHearts replaces the blank page you see when you open a new tab in your browser with the GiveHearts tab.  You’ll be greeted with a beautiful clock, a new wallpaper, local weather, 2-3 ads, and a running count of all the Hearts you’ve raised for charity.

Every new tab you open generates credits we call Hearts.  These Hearts are worth real money and can be given to the charity you select.

You can set your GiveHearts tab to automatically give to the same charity every month, or you can browse our growing list of partner organizations to find and contribute to new causes.

GiveHearts makes no other changes to your computer – it just replaces your default blank tab with ours.  We hope you’ll love it enough to install it at home & work.

How it Works

Support your favorite cause, while you browse

Once you’ve installed our GiveHearts add-on, every new tab opened will display 2-3 ads on the bottom of the page.  These ads generate money for the causes you want to support.  We keep track of how much money has been generated for each cause with credits we call Hearts.  The amount of Hearts that you’ve accumulated are shown at the top right corner of your GiveHearts tab. You can choose to donate these hearts at any time or select Automatic Giving to give to your favorite charity every month.

See our list of non-profits to raise money to end hunger, provide disaster relief, help animals, etc.  If you’re passionate about a cause that we don’t have listed, please let us know and we’ll add them as soon as possible.

What others are saying

  • By far the easiest way to raise money for charity.  It took me less than a minute, and I love how pretty the new pages are.
    Mary D.
  • I love that you have taken something so mundane, such as browsing the Internet, and made it into a way to do some good and donate to our favorite charities. That is just so ingenious to me.
